Greenlawn Road Safety Assessment

Improve safety for drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians at the high volume road intersections of Greenlawn Road, Tilden Lane, Smith Street, and Harborfields Court

  • Traffic Calming Measures
  • New/additional signals and/or signs
  • crosswalks where applicable
  • reduced lane widths
  • Pedestrian signs
  • Community Traffic Calming Informational Campaign

The five way intersection has been the location of many accidents, and abundant close calls. It is a high vehicle use and volume road(s) especially at morning and afternoon/evening rush hours, and school bus pick up and drop off times. Both the Town and County require involvement as they share jurisdiction.
