Richard Holmes, President
I am a Navy veteran who has lived in Greenlawn for over 40 years. I am part of Suffolk County Police Department's Citizen Alumni Class of 2017. I have been in Greenlawn Civic Association for over 5 years, and my priority as president is to support a great bunch of people who are dedicated to making Greenlawn a better place to live.
Jenny Post, Secretary
I've lived in Greenlawn for the last two years with my husband and two (soon to be three!) sons. After teaching high school English for ten years, I decided to leave my position and I now work part-time for the Hance Family Foundation and Beautycounter. I became involved in the GCA after attending a meeting last year where I presented about bringing full-day kindergarten to Harborfields. I was struck by the generosity, kindness, and warmth of the group and was eager to be a part of it.
Jane Irving - Member at Large
Jane has been a resident of Greenlawn for the past 36 years. Jane, along with her husband have raised two children in the Harborfields School District. She has been an active volunteer in the GCA for several years. Volunteering her time for the betterment of the Greenlawn community.
Natalie Mason, Vice President
My family and I happily became Greenlawn residents in 2008--the small town feel and the exceptional Harborfields School District were a big draw for us in picking our first home. To this day I love being able to walk down Broadway to shop at the locally owned stores, or to dine at the wonderful restaurants, and to meet my friends and neighbors at our beautiful public library. I first joined the GCA as the co-chair for the Outreach Committee and I am honored to be able to serve on the Executive Committee as Member At Large. I am also a proud volunteer in our schools and with the PTA (currently serving as co Vice President at TJL). It is my joy to be able to collaborate with the many diverse individuals and institutions that help make Greenlawn grow!
Liz Romanelli, Treasurer
I grew up on Long Island and have lived in various States and cities prior to moving to Huntington/ Greenlawn in 2007. My husband Jim and I fell in love with the small town feel of Greenlawn. It's been a wonderful community in which to raise our 2 children. I got involved with GCA when I saw a friend planting flowers on Broadway and asked her what she was doing. I came to a GCA meeting and ended up volunteering to use my accounting skills as Treasurer. I'm enjoying participating in all the community projects and events GCA has planned!
